Nov 9th thru 11th -- Sophie's first days at home

Sophie's first days at home were full of excitement! She has had lots of guests, is starting to get on a schedule, and has had more dirty diapers than we would like to count!!! It's amazing to see how she changes by the day (and even by the hour).

She also took her 1st trip outside since getting home from the hospital when we went to the pediatricians office. We found that after losing 6 ounces in her first few days, she started to gain some weight back (now at 7 lbs). But she also had to get a shot in the leg for her first vaccine, which she really did not like! But, she got a clean bill of health from the doctor and is ready for more and more visitors!

Thanks to everyone for all their well wishes, emails, cards and gifts! We will try to respond to each and every one of you at some point, but as you can imagine, things are a bit hectic these days! But that being said, if anyone wants to come visit and meet Sophie, just let us know!
