LOTS AND LOTS OF UPDATES!

OK, ok, we're sorry. It took months to update blog pictures and we apologize. But we're going to blame Sophie on this one - she's been keeping us so busy with all her growing and learning that we haven't had much time for anything else! Since we last saw you, so much has happened: Sophie celebrated her 6 month birthday (ok, so she's almost 8 months now!), she now eats in a high chair, she went to the zoo and saw her first parade, she can stand when holding onto something, she "creeps" and almost crawls, she can go from sitting to stomach on purpose, she says mama and dada, she enjoys her gym class and has started music class!

Since there are soooo many pictures, we've split this blog entry into 4 different groups of pictures. That way, if you only want to see her at the zoo, but don't care about the parade, you don't have to look! Just click on any picture to see the rest from that group!

So, without further adieu, we present "Sophie: May and June 2009"

1) General May pics. This is what the normal May blog should have looked like, had we done it.

2) Sophie's first trip to the Zoo. We went to Turtleback Zoo the Day before Memorial Day. It was incredibly hot, but Sophie got to see the big kitties and some birdies close up. She loved it! She didn't even notice the giant turtle though. Guess she sees that kind of thing every day.


3) Sophie at her first parade - Memorial Day 2009. She was a real trooper, waiting about 30 minutes in the heat before the parade started...but once it did, she absolutely loved it. She watched everything and every person that walked by, and smiled and waved. She lost interest near the end, but the fact that she made it that far was adorable!



4) June pictures. Again, this is what the normal blog may have looked like.

So there you have it. We hope it was worth the wait! We'll see you again in a few months! (just kidding! hopefully...)
